As soon as I met with Brad and Erica in Grand Rapids, Michigan to discuss booking their wedding I knew it was going to be an awesome day, they are just one of those couples that you can’t help but feel a fondness for immediately. It was so hard to wait a whole year for their wedding after taking their engagement photos in Allendale and Holland BUT when their day arrived it did not disappoint!
They chose to have their first look at the nature preserve on Traverse Bay where they got engaged and then we spent the rest of the time before the ceremony on group photos. I definitely enjoyed getting to know their friends and family! The ceremony was set under a wooden arch with Torch Lake as a stunning backdrop. After the ceremony was over and family photos were taken the bride and groom wanted to take a cruise on the lake so we piled into a boat with some of the bridal party. Champagne was popped and there were smiles all around. The reception was held in a perfectly decorated tent right next to the lake and I can not tell you how obsessed I was with the details.

Where exactly was this ceremony and reception?! I’m in love with all of this!! I know you said traverse city reserve but having trouble finding it. We are planning a wedding and this looks like our style!
