I met Jacklyn and Jordan last year when I photographed their engagement session and my first impression was that they were a sweet and beautiful couple. Fast forward to May of this year. It was a slightly overcast day and Spring was in full swing here in west Michigan. The couple chose St. John’s Episcopal in Grand Haven, Michigan for their ceremony. The sanctuary is gorgeous and I loved photographing the ceremony there. Jacklyn carried the most beautiful peony bouquet and her dress was completely stunning. They chose not to do a first look and I loved their reaction as they saw each-other for the first time on their wedding day.
After the ceremony we took photos inside and outside of the church and then walked to a nearby park to take a few more group photos and portraits of the bride and groom. After we finished up at the park we all drove to the reception which was held at the Century Club Ballroom in Muskegon, Michigan. They chose beautiful accents for the room and I absolutely adored the cake they used for their cake cutting.
There were so many cute moments during their first dance as bride and groom, as well as an incredibly touching moment between Jacklyn and her father during their formal dance. Jordan and Jacklyn ended the night dancing with their family and friends. This was such a fun and beautiful wedding day and I hope you love the photos as much as I do!
