I had the pleasure of working with another photographer, Heather Michelle, to put together this styled elopement in a warehouse studio space near downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan. We found some amazing vendors to work with and had so much fun putting this together. This styled elopement lives somewhere between classic and bohemian with so many gorgeous details including geometric table elements, earthy tones, a copper wedding arch and wood details.
We reached out on Instagram to find models for this elopement session and knew almost immediately that Carson and Kiarah Tuttle were a perfect fit. They were so great to work with.
I made the copper arch with some help from my husband in my living room and Heather and I picked out the greenery. We also found those cute geometric terrariums at Hobby Lobby. I found the rug at World Market. Some of the other table decor and the wood pieces were provided by Deanne from Tumble Down the Rabbit Hole. The cake and blueberries were provided by DreamScape Desserts out of Comstock Park, Michigan and we added the faux succulent.
Makeup was provided by Makeup by Jamie and Shyanne VanArsdale Hair was our hair stylist. They are both AMAZING and I 10/10 recommend both of them. They are great to work with and have awesome personalities as well.
The absolutely stunning wedding gown and hair accessory were provided by Spring Sweet in Holland, Michigan. That little shop is filled with some of the most unique and beautiful dresses I have ever seen. They also sell every day clothes and adorable home decor on the lower level of their store. Definitely check them out if you are ever in the Holland area!
The seriously gorgeous bridal bouquet was provided by Eastern Floral in Grand Rapids, Michigan. They created exactly what we had in mind and it turned out great, the colors were absolutely perfect and she included some rare blooms that were so lovely.
Here are some of my favorite photos from the styled elopement!
